Yardley London Hermina
Learning about Hermina Yardley inspired me to create an intense, yet highly feminine scent reflecting the strength, elegance and independent character of Yardley London’s ‘First Lady’. The indulgent notes of green fig and the delicate floral notes of peach flower, myrtle and heliotrope combined with textured cologne notes have resulted in an alluring and sophisticated fragrance

My Thoughts
I have a soft spot for Yardley, maybe it’s their love of traditional British raw ingredients like violets, rose and lavender, or maybe it’s the memory of Marilyn Monroe’s famous quote about wearing Yardley. Whatever it is, I love their heritage and their classic, yet stylish products, which are always affordable. This latest release, ‘Hermina’ is a pretty fruity floral fragrance with a few hidden surprises, of spicy black pepper, green woody fig and warm aromatic Amber. It is light, yet noticeable and it’s affordable without smelling cheap, in fact, if I was to guess the price point, I would have assumed it cost double the retail price. Hermina is a lovely fruity floral fragrance, but instead of the usual sweetness you might expect, it had a woodsy, grown up twist!
Yardley London Hermina is available from February 2016 at Boots, Superdrug and Yardley London.
