Clinique ‘Pop Artistry’ Collection
Oh la la!! It’s time for the new Spring launches from Clinique and this one is *so* up my street! Anyone who follows my Instagram will see a one brand of lipstick pop up over and over again, it’s Clinique and their Lip Pops. I bloody love them! They are primer and colour in one and 100% lipstick perfection! Their latest collection, Pop Artistry, is an an extension of the last Summer’s Lip and Cheek Pop collection; Pop Glaze, Pop Lacquer and Eye Pop.
Clinique Pop Glaze
These Clinique Pop Glaze lipsticks deliver subtle colour with a luxe-shine finish. There are 10 shades to choose from, everything from nude, red, pretty pink and plum. I have Liquorice Pop which might look super dark in the photos, but actually it’s really wearable once applied. The texture is lovely, it feels like lip balm and whilst the colour isn’t as strong as it is when solid, it does give more colour than other lipsticks with a similar formula and it’s lovely for softer Summer make-up.
Clinique Pop Lacquer
Lipgloss lovers are going to love these Clinique Pop Lacquers, they come in 10 shades and contain primer as well as glossy colour. I’m not generally a huge fan of lip glosses, I like the look of them, but I can’t bare that ‘sticky lips’ feel. Clinique should be very proud of themselves for developing a lipgloss which lacks that sticky, gloopy feel, and instead it feels like you are wearing lip balm. I wear the red (Poppy Glow) and whilst it doesn’t pack the same colour punch as a red lipstick, it’s definitely stronger than most red lip glosses. It has a really nice finish, it looks shiny and healthy, without being ridiculously hi-shine in a Paris Hilton way.
Clinique Eye Pop
From nude to bold, these Clinique Eye Pops come in 8 vibrant shades. The colours are heavily pigmented, silky smooth and have a super lightweight to wear. I love the slightly metallic finish of them, very modern and edgy, whilst still being really wearable. I like the lighter shades as a bold sweep across my lids (Cream Pop is a lovely metallic style nude) and the darker shades (like Willow and Mocha Pop) as a more defined eyeliner effect and a little eye contouring.
Lovely layout ?
Thank you ???
Can’t wait for these xx
