Hair: The Backstory
I don’t feature hair products very often, I don’t feel very comfortable dishing out advice on hair products as for the most part, my hair is a bit of an overgrown mop. Not even kidding. I’m addicted to bleached blonde locks and I haven’t been to the hairdressers for ages. Coupled with a natural wave and inate sense of laziness, it’s just not working for me right now! I used to go to The Painted Lady in Shoreditch, but since I have moved I haven’t found a new hairdresser yet. I’m tempted to head back to East London for a chop, as I love The Painted Lady, but it seems like quite a distance to go for a trim. It’s been about 4 months since I last got my hair cut (I know, I know! It’s horrific!!!) and I’m starting to feel like my hair needs some series SOS treatment. Ultimately I need to figure out my next move, hair wise, but I have a short term solution which is really helping me out.*
*Please note, this post is full of first world problems. I am aware!
ghd Advanced Split End Therapy
Luckily for me, ghd have just launched their new product, Advanced Split End Therapy, and it’s kind of a miracle! It’s not like any other product I know of, it’s a deep treatment activated by the heat in ghd’s and once you are finished, you have perfectly styled locks! To apply this product: Shampoo your hair (no conditioner), towel dry and apply a good blob onto your hands and distribute through the hair, concentrating onto the ends and anywhere else which has significant damaged. Comb through and blow dry. Finally, section the hair up and put your ghd’s on the lowest setting and glide over your hair. The treatment activated with the heat keeps hair glossy, sleek and dispels the appearance of split ends and damage for up to 10 washes. Amazing right?!
