Fragrance: Elie Saab ‘Rose Couture’

Elie Saab Rose Couture perfume review

Elie Saab Rose Couture

It is a flower. A colour. A fragrance. The very symbol of femininity. And an endless source of inspiration for Elie Saab.

Notes

Top Notes: Peony, Rose Nectar, Orange Blossom

Heart Notes: Vanilla, Jasmine

Base Notes: Sandalwood, Patchouli

My Thoughts

Elie Saab perfumes are so pretty, they always come in a dreamy bottle and feature oodles of beautiful fresh floral scents blended with a touch of fresh fruit. They tend to be slightly younger fragrances, but they are always elegant and fabulous. Their latest offering, Elie Saab Rose Couture is every bit as gorgeous as the bottle. The soft and pretty pink peony, rose and orange blossom are at the top of the fragrance with vanilla and jasmine at the heart. The base has a subtle amount of sandalwood to give it a little woody depth and the patchouli to leave a powdery trail. As we all know, I love a rose based perfume and this one is lovely as it is slightly softer and prettier with it’s burst of peony, jasmine and orange blossom. It’s like walking around Mayfair on a spring day, stopping in at a flower shop to buy some fresh pink blooms before drinking a fruit tea and snacking on Laduree macaroons. It’s a lovely way to spend an afternoon and this is a rather lovely new perfume! It’s one to pop on your must-sniff list ladies!

Elie Saab Rose Couture is Available Nationwide from 1st February 2016, via Harrods, John Lewis and Selfridges
