My Thoughts

Dsquared2 are not a brand I know much about, I know their name and I know my friend Adorn Girl thinks they are super cool. That’s where my knowledge of Dsquared2 ends. So first of all, the bottle is cool, the lid is like a big cream ball. It’s somewhere between a Marni-esque necklace pendant and a snooker ball. Either way I like it, I also like the gold metal around the bottle with the name embossed into it. It’s cool and unexpected, much like the perfume which is unusual and captivating. It is heavier than I expected, it has a real luxe, niche feel to it, it’s got a fruity oriental feel to it and the heavy hit of vanilla makes it really warm and addictive. At the top of the fragrance, the mandarin is tangy with warm ginger, the black pepper is spicy, which is balanced with sweet vanilla is sweet and deliciousness. The neroli is subtle but it adds a hint of spa-like opulence and the rose is heady. I’m totally into this perfume, it’s warm, spicy, exotic, opulent and delicious. Dsquared2 Want is a lucky little find and I am so glad I gave it a whirl! It’s well worth a sniff ladies, I can’t stop wearing it!
