My Thoughts
Be Electric is the latest fragrance collection from DKNY. This collection is made up of three fragrances, Loving Glow, Citrus Pulse and Bright Crush. Each one is inspired by the excitement of Spring in New York City. Much like DKNY’s last launch, Be Desired, this perfume does not include the fragrance note of apple. Instead it has sparkling top notes of fruity bergamot, blackcurrant and plum. It has a floral heart of Frangipani and Peony, one a soft base of wood, vanilla and amber accords. Whilst Bright Crush may not contain apple, it somehow still manages to deliver the fresh, crisp crunch we all love about apple. The natural sweetness and the familiar fruit which is somehow elevated to become the main accord in a luxury fragrance. DKNY Be Electric: Bright Crush is deliciously fresh, fruity and uplifting, I love dark juicy fruits, but this one is somehow fresher and more uplifting than most. I think Bright Crush is my personal favourite of the Be Electric collection!
