New Years Eve Outfit with ASOS

When it comes to NYE, my clubbing days of over. Instead, I like to head out for a few cocktails with friends and a delicious and fancy dinner somewhere special. I’m no longer confident enough to flash the cleavage and bare legs, instead, I opt for big sassy hair, a fabulous fur and sky high heels. When ASOS challenged me to show my NYE outfit, I wanted to look fabulous and stay true to my style.

The Coat

Carrie Bradshaw rocked a lot of iconic looks in Sex and The City, but one of my favourite garments she ever wore was the oversized fur coat which you see in the first series and it reappears throughout the later series and I’m pretty sure you see it in the film too. When I saw this faux fur coat, it totally reminded me of Carrie’s fur and I just couldn’t resist it! As we all learnt from Miss Bradshaw, a chunky fur looks great with everything from a pair of boyfriend jeans to a naked dress!

The Scarf

Skinny scarves have been on my radar for a while, they have a rock ‘n’ roll, 70’s groupie feel and I’m totally into it. I have been considering buying one for a while, but I hadn’t seen one I loved until I spied this one on sale at ASOS. Can you believe this scarf was only £3.50?!

The Bag

Be still my beating heart, this ASOS clutch bag is super cool!! I love the black and gold stripes, it’s large sized and the fold over detail. It’s gives a great bit of sparkle for New Years Eve, but I have a feeling  I will be reaching for it over the next few weeks whenever I feel a little fancy!

The Boots

Oh my! These heels are sky high, but aren’t they amazing?! For the height of them, they are surprisingly easy to walk in, I’m not sure how I would get on dancing all night, but they are perfect for my evening of cocktails and fine dining!
