Elizabeth Arden is a heritage beauty brand, but Elizabeth herself has always been a very modern woman. The brand have taken inspiration from her personality to create this fragrance. Who is Elizabeth Arden? She’s bold, confident, bright, a risk taker and a rule breaker. Elizabeth Arden ALWAYS RED is a classic fruity floral fragrance. It has sparkling top notes of dark plum, citrus and passion fruit, at the top, it’s playful, delicious and uplifting, with a touch of citric sweetness. The heart notes are soft florals; feesia, white roses and jasmine. As for the base, it is a blend of resins (amber) and praline and musk. It’s smooth, creamy and has a hint of caramel in an oh-so-delicious sensual way. It feels like a classic fruity-floral fragrance for younger women, but instead of it being sugary pink, it’s elegant and exciting. It’s sweet without being sickly, fruity without being sticky, and sexy in a cool exciting way. It’s definitely a younger woman’s fragrance, but it’s good. If you like perfumes like Prada Candy and Jimmy Choo Exotic, you need to give this one a sniff!
