Michael Kors announces the next chapter of the Michael Kors Collection fragrances: The Gold Collection. Each of the three individual scents was designed to reflect the opulence and luxury of the highly prized metal—White, Rose and 24K Gold.

White Luminous Gold

My Thoughts
Gold is Michael Kors signature colour, he seems to love it and everything it represents; sun tans, sun bleached hair, sparkling sea, reflections and dazzling sun. He takes the LA sun and infuses it into everything he does, be it watches, RTW, make-up or perfume. This latest Gold Fragrance Collection is like gold in a bottle, inside, as well as out. Each perfume contains a lot of the same sunshine notes; spice, citrus fruits, warm florals and musk, but the direction each fragrance takes is different, White Luminous Gold is sparkling pear and apple with jasmine and soft woods. 24K Brilliant Gold is like jasmine in the sunshine with a base of warm musks. Rose Radiant Gold is more white florals with a hint of orange and spice. Each bottle looks like it has been dipped in molten gold and looks almost like a bar of gold, beautiful as a dressing table display.
My personal favourite is the 24K Brilliant Gold, I love the warm jasmine and soft musks, it has a feel of champagne, beaches, suntans and jasmine on a sea breeze. For me, it’s captures everything the gold fragrance collection is about and the heavy hit of jasmine is warm, pure and, well, gold!
These three fragrances are available as 30ml, 50ml or 100ml bottles, I have also seen some lovely gift sets which include a body moisturiser which would make an amazing christmas gift for someone in their early 20’s, if you are not sure which to go for, all are lovely, but I would recommend the 24K Brilliant Gold.
