I Love You, But I Don’t Use My Beauty Products!

Love You, But I Don't Use My Beauty Products

Sharing is caring, right? Right! I always share my beauty products with my boyfriend, he has flawless skin and I never mind him using my skincare. However, there is an exception to every rule and in my case there is six. I love him, but there are certain beauty products which are just off-limits!

Lush Snow Fairy pink glitter

Lush Snow Fairy

Every fan of Lush Cosmetics will know that Snow Fairy is a Winter treat which is only available for a limited period. It’s pink, glittery and it smells like candy floss! It’s kind of a big deal, in fact, some Lushie’s love it so much they stockpile it to last the whole year. The other day my boyfriend emerged from the bathroom smelling of Snow Fairy. Not cool, not cool at all!

Clinique's Aromatics in Black

Clinique Candle

During the Winter months I burn scented candles almost around the clock, I love the glow of the flame and the fragrance they give off. It doesn’t matter how cold, damp and dark it is, a scented candle makes everything ten times better! He might be my fiancé, but there is no need for him to burn my favourite scented candle with the windows open. Hands off! FYI, my current favourite candle is Clinique Aromatics in Black. It’s divine!!

Dermalogica Eye Cream multivitamin eyecream

Dermalogica Eye Cream

For the last few years, my boyfriend and I have been quietly wrestling over Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Firm Eye Cream. Every time we buy a new tube, one of us tries to squirrel it away for ourselves. The sensible thing would be to buy a tube each, but instead we have one tube to share and we hide it from each other. Why? Because it’s the best eye cream ever and we both want a youthful eye area!

Penhaligon's As Sawira review

Penhaligon’s As Sawira

Penhaligon’s As Sawira is a stunning unisex fragrance which we both adore. I claim it’s more lady-like, he claims it’s more gentlemanly. He may keep it in his wash bag, but I always encourage him to wear Satorial or Tom Ford’s Extreme instead. Why? Because when he leaves the house, I dig into his wash bag and use As Sawira, he hasn’t even noticed because it smells completely different on us both. On his skin the oud and amber are more prominent, but on my skin the rose and amber are dominant.

Bumble & Bumble Surf Haircare

Bumble & Bumble Surf Haircare

I have fine hair and chubby cheeks, which is why I like Bumble & Bumble’s Surf range so much. With minimal styling it gives me big messy beach hair which looks big and sassy. He on the other hand has a grade 2. He washes his “hair” every day and he likes to a good quality products as he likes to treat the little hair he has well. That’s fine, but come on, does he have to use Bumble & Bumble?! Paws off Mr!

Neom Organics Sleep Mist

Neom Organics Sleep Mist

Ever since I was a child, I have been a bad sleeper. I struggle to get to sleep, stay asleep and I often wake up ridiculously early for no reason. It’s very annoying! Over the last year or two, I have been using pillow sprays as they help me fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer. I also love the way scent of lavender on my pillow. This Neom Organics Perfect Night’s Sleep Mist is mine, and only mine!
