Jo Malone London: The Herb Garden
The Herb Garden is the new collection of fragrances from Jo Malone London. This collection is the latest addition to the Brit Collection, so the five bottles will be released together in March 2016 and each perfume can be worn alone, or layered up with any of the other fragrances in the collection. The collection is inspired by a day in the herb garden. A quirky tapestry of foliage, flower, citrus, moss, spice, leaves and greens. Come and take a walk with me around Jo Malone London The Herb Garden Collection.

I am a huge fan of Jo Malone London, I can’t get enough of their fragrances. They are always so fresh, concise and beautifully balanced. They seem to know exactly what I’m craving and they are always starting fragrance trends with their unique twists and uses of ingredients. Recently, I have been loving a lot of very green fragrances, lots of figs, green grasses, vine tomatoes, herbs and what-not, so I couldn’t have been more excited to be invited to the press launch of The Herb Garden collection. Each fragrance has a real earthy, woody, mossy feel at the base with sparkling top notes of freshness and life. For me, the two most exciting perfumes in the collection are Sorrel & Lemon Thyme and Lavender & Coriander. The former is wonderfully fresh and zesty, it’s clean and sharp, yet earth and sophisticated. It’s unexpected, yet glorious. The latter fragrance, Lavender & Coriander, is the most masculine of the collection. The lavender is pure and true and the coriander is herby with a kick. Both fragrances pack and punch and feel really alive and exciting.
