OOTD: Orange Is The New Black

The Bag

Orange is the new black. It’s also the colour of pumpkins, bad spray tans, carrots, Iron Bru,  goldfish, traffic cones, Terry’s Chocolate Oranges, orange juice, Tenderheart Care Bear and Heinz tomato soup. All things I want to be associated with and with that in mind, please say hello to my new orange handbag by Boden. Pretty snazzy right?! Want to know what to wear with an orange handbag?

The Cape

For the past few weeks I have been wearing capes because they look cute and there has been a slight chill in the air, now I am wearing a cape because it’s f***ing freezing. Seriously, it got cold very suddenly! Luckily for me, this Boden cape looks cute and it is as cosy as wearing a blanket down the street, it’s also a lot more socially acceptable!

The Sunglasses

It’s Sunday and I just don’t want to have to spend ages putting on my eyeliner. Instead, I want to wake up late, eat a croissant, go for lunch, have an afternoon nap and then eat dinner and watch the X-Factor. Thankfully these sunglasses help me look a little more glamorous than I feel! I think these might be my favourite sunglasses, ever!

The Scarf

I love wearing silk scarves and I totally forgot I owned this Ralph Lauren beauty! I love the classic equestrian theme and the pop of orange is perfect with my handbag. I have a bit of a *thing* for Ralph Lauren at the moment, I have been eyeing up a fair few pieces on their new collection, everything is so good right now!
