Best Friend Jackets

New York Fashion Week has just passed and there was one image which was all over every instagram feed and streetstyle blog. It wasn’t from a show, nor was it of a celebrity. Instead, it was two bloggers wearing twin painted leather jackets which stated that they were *Best Friends*. It was cool, stylish, unexpected and heartwarming (I pinned the image here).

Right now, painted leather jackets are the outwear to be seen in. Last season, Clio Peppiatt made some super-sweet leather jackets (with matching skirts) with lipstick patches all over them. Phiney Pet painted some seriously cute ones for her SS16 Collection and Laurie Lee Custom leather is super hot with it’s rock ‘n’ roll edge. Chiara Ferragni recently wore one and I hear there are several pop stars requesting custom pieces.

So out of my wardrobe comes my Laurie Lee Custom Leather jacket again. Worn with Topshop jeans and Vagabond boots and modelled by my sis.

PS. To clear up any confusion, the song Teenage Dirtbag is by Wheatus, not Weezer. FYI, I bloody love Weezer.
