Fashion: Capes

Capes are awesome, they are like wearing a stylish blanket, they are easy to wear and oh-so-comfortable. They get bonus points for their swing shape, which means you never have to worry about over-indulging and not being able to button up your coat at the end of the night too! I have a handful of capes in my wardrobe and I am tempted to get myself a few more, there is no such thing as too many handbags, nor too many capes. I have even considered getting married in some kind of caped dress (if Solange can do it, then so can I!) In short, capes are my everything!

Working Hard

These two blog posts (here & here) show how a nice cape and a cute handbag can be all you need to create a simple but (hopefully) great outfit. On both occasions I was wearing comfortable black boots and an easy jersey dress, but the cape made me look a whole lot fancier than I would have done in a regular jacket! I scrolled some of my favourite online shops to pick out some great capes, come join my club!
