Oh la la! I am a self-confessed Jo Malone London addict and I get so excited when they launch new fragrances! The next scent to launch is Mimosa & Cardamom and it is available from September 2015. It is inspired by modern bohemia and Indian Summers, imagine mists of honeyed, golden mimosa with the spice of cardamom and the sweetness of creamy tonka beans and earthy sandalwood. It’s warm, spicy, etherial and mesmerising. Imagine hot Summers spent travelling the world, eating the most incredible food and sleeping in luxury tee-pees.

Fragrance Combining

Jo Malone London always encourage their customers to fragrance combine to create a bespoke perfume and add layers to their favourite perfumes. Mimosa & Cardamom blends beautifully with English pear & Freesia, it adds a little spice to the fresh fruity perfume. It also blends perfectly with Red Roses to add warmth to this rich, heady scent.

My Thoughts

I go nuts for Jo Malone London perfumes and this Mimosa & Cardamom fragrance is so pretty. It is warm, floral, sweet, with a dash of spice. It’s got a beautiful light, whimsical feel, it’s Summer flowers with warm sweet tonka beans and a dash of spice. The tonka beans are sweet, rich and creamy but the cardamom gives it a tiny hint of warm spice to balance to the perfume. It’s warm, celebratory and carefree. Worn alone, Mimosa & Cardamom is a perfect Summer perfume, but combined with the Red Roses cologne, something really magical happens, imagine fragrant red roses in the heat, with the sweetness and spice of the tonka beans and Cardamom. Mimosa & Cardamom is bound to be an instant classic, it’s delightful and gorgeous, Jo Malone London fans will love it and I think it will appeal to a slightly younger audience too.

Available from September 2015 in store and online. This fragrance is available as a 30ml and 100ml cologne as well as a Body & Hand Wash, Body Creme and Home Candle.
