OOTD: Dressed Smart

Whenever I need to look Smart / Casual, I always seem to wear this jacket. I bought it years ago at a flea market in Paris (or perhaps it was Lille?! I can’t remember!) My grandparents were Scottish, so I love wearing tartan as I like to think I have Scottish blood! It’s an easy jacket to wear; comfortable, smart but not too office-block.

Backpack

I love wearing a backpack as it means I can use one hand to hold a coffee and the other to hold my phone. Most handbags allow for one vice, not both! This bag is by Sophie Fleming, I love it so much! I wear it a lot as I love the design, functionality and the beautiful quality leather. It’s a winner! Oh, and aren’t I lucky how closely it matches my Clarks for Orla Kiely shoes?

Sunglasses 

These bad boys are new! They are by Marc by Marc Jacobs from Sunglasses Shop, I love the cat eye shape and the clear sections in the frames. I always find cat eye frames really flattering, but the clear section gives them a little more of a modern look.

Arm Candy

I’m so into arm candy at the moment, I wear these bracelets pretty much every day and if it isn’t these exact ones, it is a very similar combination. It’s an easy way to add some detail  to your look and they are so much fun to layer up! You may have noticed me wearing these Hiho Silver Snaffle bracelets once or twice before, I love them so much I have two, one silver, one leather.
