Azzedine Alaïa defined the 80’s with his bodycon dresses. He was named ‘King of Cling’, his garments were sold in the best stores in the world, worn by celebrities and loved by fashion press. He spent the 90’s quietly working with his impressive list of private clientele and producing ready-to-wear lines. The 2000’s saw Alaïa have a huge resurgence, he briefly signed to the Prada group and produced his now iconic laser cut detailing bags and shoes. Always slightly under the radar of commercial success and loved by the fashion industry and celebrities.
Alaïa Eau de Parfum
Alaïa Eau de Parfum is inspired by an elegant soft, sensual floral suede and created for the goddess in every woman. It’s sophisticated, rich, quietly heady and fabulous. It isn’t even out yet, but it is one of those launches which is so exciting and so long awaited, you know it’s going to be a modern classic as soon as it hits the shelves.
