His Favourite Things

Now that I’m an engaged lady, I have to think about his needs as well as my own. I love doing round ups of my favourite things, but it’s also time to start talking about his favourite things too. Perhaps there are some men out there who read my blog, or perhaps there are some women who might want to consider some of these items for their men!

Molton Brown

My boyfriend works hard and often gets up really early in the morning. We both believe that a good shower with a great shower gel can wake you up and make you feel a whole lot better, no matter how early it is in the morning. He favourite is Molton Brown, he often swaps between Pink Pepperpod and Templetree Bath & Shower Gel. Both of which he loves and really help get him going in the morning!

Acqua di Parma 

We had this Acqua di Parma Black Amber cube candle once before and while we both enjoyed it, he really loved it. For a few weeks we sat it unlit on our coffee table as it looked so nice with all our books and magazines and eventually we burnt it down. It has a burn time of about 60 hours, so it lasted for a good long time. It smelt incredible and we loved it, so I was very happy when he took a surprise trip to Harrods to buy a second one!

Montblanc

We both have Montblanc Starwalker pens and we both love writing with them, but my boyfriend loves Montblanc so much he asked me to buy him a pair of  Creative Cuff links for his birthday. He has some pretty cool cuff links in his collection, lots of Vivienne Westwood and Paul Smith, but these are by far his favourite. I wish I could take credit for choosing them, but he pointed them out, so all I really did was hand over my bank card! Either way, he loves them!

The Saville Row Company

My boyfriend has a few tailored shirts, which he loves, but unfortunately, he’s not in a position to fill his wardrobe with custom shirts. He has tried many different brands of shirts, but his favourite are by The Saville Row Company. They use great quality fabrics and their shirts fit well and feel comfortable. If he can’t go custom, he always goes for these!

Jo Malone London

I’m obviously a huge fan of Jo Malone London and I have managed to convert quite a few members of my family to the brand too. My boyfriend used to wear Pomegranate Noir often and eventually the bottle ran out. He recently bought himself a new bottle and I couldn’t be happier, not only do I love the fragrance on him, but occasionally I borrow a little of it too, it is unisex after all!

Dermalogica

I have mentioned many, many times how much my boyfriend loves Dermalogica Skin Care, I feel like everyone must know this already, but well, he loves it and it seems wrong not to mention it. He has recently been using Dermalogica Intensive Eye Repair, which he loves as well as the Skin Hydrating Booster whenever he needs a little extra boost anywhere.

Omega

He bought himself this watch Omega Seamaster Watch a few years ago now, he loves it and it still looks great. When he comes to service it (they recommend that it is done every 7 years) it will be completely striped down, polished, checked and basically refurbished. Generally he wears it to work or dinner, but he could go deep sea diving down to about 600m if needed. In the latest Bond films, this is the same one that Daniel Craig wears… FYI!

Balance Me

He doesn’t have much hair, but he does feel it’s important to keep what he has looking good. His current favourite is Balance Me Protect and Shine Shampoo and Conditioner. He loves it because it keeps his tiny amount of hair clean as well as his scalp nourished. Apparently, men with very short hair have to work very hard to keep their scalps looking healthy.
