It’s time to talk perfume again, because I’m a self-confessed perfume addict. I have written about Terry de Gunzburg perfume a few times before, their scents are always beautiful and a little unexpected. I feel like there are always a few notes in a TdG perfume which shocks the wearer slightly, not in a bad way, just in a way that it is never predictable. I’m into that!
Terry de Gunzburg Flagrant Délice is a Fig scented perfume, which is a favourite of mine. It opens with a burst of almond milk, fresh fig and citrus. It’s warm and fresh with the heat of Summer fruits and ripe figs. The base notes are sweet and heavy with tonka beans and white musk.
Top Notes: Almond Milk, Bergamot and Mandarin
Heart Notes: Fig and Red Currants
Base Notes: Tonka Beans and White Musk
I go nuts for the scent of fig, but Terry de Gunzburg Flagrant Délice is a fig based perfume with a difference. Whilst most fig based perfumes are more of a single scent fragrance, Flagrant Délice is a little more complex. The fresh fig is blended with the citrusy bergamot to give a real feel of warmth, Summer and freshness, whilst the heavy base notes of Tonka beans make it really sweet and feminine. It gives a heavy hit of fresh fig with a feminine, sweetness white musk, it’s really special and if you are looking for a fresh fig perfume with a little added something-something, this is for you! I love Flagrant Délice, it is so beautiful and while all the notes are familiar, they are unexpected together, which makes this perfume so special.
