Montblanc Starwalker Pen

A lady needs a good handbag and a gentleman needs a good pen. My boyfriend bought his first Montblanc Starwalker pen about 10 years ago, he loved it until the day he left it on a table and 5 minutes later it had disappeared. He always promised himself he would buy himself another and now he has two. Montblanc pens are beautifully made, everything about them is perfect from the glass top detailing, smooth finish and the optional monogram. This pen is oh-so-chic for a gentleman!

Annick Goutal Ambre Fetiche

Regular readers of my blog may remember me mentioning Annick Goutal perfumes once or twice, truth be told, both the boyfriend and I are obsessed! We first discovered Annick Goutal in New York last year, and since then both my boyfriend and I have been hooked on their fragrances. I love Rose Absolue and Ce Soir ou Jamais and he loves Ambre Fetiche. Ambre Fetiche is smoky, spicy, sweet and rich. It is a beautiful blend of Amber, Oud, Incense, Labdanum, Benzoin, Iris absolute, Vanilla, Geranium, Patchouli. Day or evening, he loves this scent and even my mum comments on how nice he smells when he is wearing it.

Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones

Men love a little tech don’t they? My boyfriend had these headphones on his wish list for a while before he took the plunge and bought them. They are Bose over-ear headphones which have noise cancelling technology in them. They are perfect for every day as well as travelling. The sound quality is amazing and the noise cancelling function means that you can block out the sound of the aeroplane engine. Plus if you are having a nap on a long flight, you can wear them with no music but keep the noise cancelling function on to give yourself a little peace and quiet whist you rest.

Russell & Bromley Shoes

A while ago we popped into Russell & Bromley as I wanted a pair of loafers. An hour later, we came out with shoes for me and another pair for him. He loves these Denver loafers shoes, they are his favourite pair of work shoes, they are classic black slip-ons and they are made from the softest leather and he could walk for miles in them in perfect comfort.

Pringle Socks 

To go with his fancy shoes, my man loves a fancy sock. He loves to have a flash of print or colour poking out between his trouser leg and shoes. His current favourite socks are by Pringle of Scotland, they are soft and comfortable and the designs are great.

Skincare

I’m massively jealous of my boyfriends skin, it is pretty much flawless. He looks after it and it has paid off; he has a perfectly even skin tone with no blackheads and no breakouts. How does he achieve it? A mixture of Dermalogica and The Refinery for his skin care and Decleor for his shave (read more about that here). He is currently using The Refinery Face Wash, which contains Bergamot and spearmint to freshen and stimulate skin while the antiseptic properties of lavender and cedarwood help maintain a blemish free complexion. He loves to exfoliate his skin, which is also good to help combat any ingrown hairs caused by shaving. He mixes a little of Dermalogica’s Daily Microfoliant in with his cleanser to give a gentle daily scrub. He also loves The Refinery Revitalising Moisturiser as it is super nourishing, but absorbs fast. It contains a healthy dose of frankincense which is amazing for the skin and he loves the scent. Finally, one of his (and mine) favourite ever products is Dermalogica’s Multi-vitamin Power firm eye cream, it is a powerful cream which is perfect for the delicate eye area. It goes on like a dream and to be honest, nothing else really compares!

Elliot Rhodes Belt

I recently got my boyfriend an Elliot Rhodes belt as a gift, I went into the store and picked out everything from the leather to the buckle. I was super pleased with it and proudly presented it to him that evening. He thanked me and said it was beautiful and he loved it. About a week later he was putting it on over his suit and he told me how much he had been enjoying wearing it. He said it was the perfect size, width, design and whilst it was super simple it was everything he wanted from a belt.

Charlotte Valkeniers Cufflinks

My man is always on the lookout for new cufflinks and these Charlotte Valkeniers cufflinks are his current favourite. He loves the rose gold tone and the geometric shape, they are both beautiful and cool.

Shay & Blue Candle

I am a huge fan of scented candles and I burn them in our flat all the time! Usually I pick out the scents but occasionally my man takes the lead and picks out something a little more masculine. Recently he ordered this Shay & Blue Candle in Blacks Club Leather and he absolutely adores it! The fragrance is inspired by the private members’ club, Blacks of Soho in London. It smells of decadent bohemia, fine English leather, round and warming cognac, firewood, mahogany and beeswax. It’s heavily scented, beautiful and masculine, he loves it!
