The weekend is just around the corner and I thought it might be fun to share a few weekend treat suggestions!
There are loads of great markets in London; Borough, Portobello, Brick Lane, to name a few, but the prettiest has to be Columbia Road Flower Market. Just a stones throw away from Brick lane is Columbia Road and on a Sunday morning is filled with the most beautiful flowers you have ever seen… it’s Instagram heaven!
If you haven’t already done so, it’s time to sit down with a cup of coffee (or hot chocolate) and book a date to go and see the Mcqueen Savage Beauty Exhibtion at the V&A Museum. It really is incredible and well worth visiting. It’s one of those shows that you will regret missing for years. It’s that good! If you didn’t see my blog post about it, check here!
If you are in need of some new beauty products then it’s time to head to M&S. Why? Because, from 16th-30th March, M&S have some pretty amazing deals on their beauty products! Different brands have different deals, but my personal favourite is this Nuxe gift set which you get for free when you buy just two Nuxe products. The set is worth £50 and contains three great products in a super-cute pouch! Want to find out what else is on offer? Check here!
If you are feeling in need of a little retail therapy, but can’t handle the crowds of Oxford Street, then why not head to my stomping ground, Shoreditch. Here you will find Boxpark which is an awesome pop-up mall. They have some great stores here; BeautyMart, Urbanears, Hype, Vagabond and now…. Swedish Hasbeens! I love their super cool clogs and I am so happy there is a new pop-up store so close to my flat! Pop along this weekend and buy yourself some cool clogs!
Searching for a new favourite restaurant? Then try MASH. It’s one of my very favourite restaurants in London. MASH stands for Modern American Steak House and it is nothing short of delicious. It is located in Soho, just around the corner from Piccadilly Circus. It is two floors underground and it is an old Ballroom which has been converted into a restaurant. They have a huge array of steaks and if you are feeling a little thrifty you could always go for the pre or post theatre menu where you get a starter, steak & a side, desert and a coffee for £25. It’s incredible value as it’s such a delicious meal and the most beautiful hidden venue!
For me, there is only one place to go if you want to have a fancy afternoon tea and that is Sketch. From the tea to the toilets, the decor to the dainty sandwiches, Sketch is perfection. Read my full review here.
