It’s almost hard to believe that just last month I was in Bali! It was so beautiful, hot and tropical it really feels like a million miles away from London!
I was looking through my photos the other day and I realised I have barely shown the clothes and accessories I took to Bali. I found it insanely hard to know what to Pack for Bali, as humidity is at about 95% and it is about 40ºc every day. The temperature barely drops at night and considering it was ‘rainy’ season, it barely rained!
So here is a little rundown of some of my favourite Bali clothes and accessories!
Birkinstock Sandals
Every day I praised the Lord that Birkinstocks were fashionable. They are lightweight, comfortable and super easy to wear. From breakfast to poolside, Lunch to beach, these babies barely left my feet! Roll on Summer when I can wear them again!
Boden Polka Dot Heels
I am literally obsessed with these Boden heels! I could not stop instagrammed these while I was away and I swear I must have taken about a million photos on my camera too! They are literally the cutest shoes in the world! The polka dots, the tassels… everything about them is perfect!
Wildfox Top
I love Wildfox clothing, I wear their jumpers all the time! I took a cute little Los Angeles top to Bali and I loved it. It was lightweight, comfortable and never sheer. I love Wildfox clothing as it is just so easy to wear!
Miu Miu Sunglasses
I took about four pairs of sunglasses to Bali, but without a doubt, the cat-eye Miu Miu glasses were my favourites. The crystals and the cat eye shape of them stole my heart! I wish I could wear them every single day of my life!
Luggage
I flew Business Class to Bali so it was important I had pretty good luggage! I packed everything I needed for the 16 hour flight into this Ted Baker flight case and my beloved pink MCM Worldwide handbag. The suitcase wheeled around the airports like a dream and the MCM handbag was the perfect size and shape to fit everything I needed inside and still tuck under the seat neatly. Once I got to Bali, I continued to use the MCM Worldwide handbag, but to make it look a little more tropical, I wrapped a scarf around the handles!
Swimsuit
No tropical holiday is complete without a damned good swimsuit and I’m all about the one-piece. This cute polka dot number from Boden is pretty, flattering and comfortable. It’s a touch retro without screaming ‘look at me’!
Free People
I took two Free People dresses to Bali and I wore them both. These dresses are made for tropical holidays, they are easy to wear and light-weight. One of the dresses had bell sleeves which I adored and the other had cut out details on the back. Perfect tropical holiday dresses!
Hot Squash
I packed a couple of Hot Squash dresses and tee shirts in my suitcase as they make great basics with cooling technology built in. The fabric is light and thin, yet never looks sheer and they do keep you much cooler than normal cotton jersey.
Boden Slouch Bags
You may have noticed I have been wearing these Boden Maida Vale bags in the UK, I love the quality leather and the lovely slouch shape of them. I used the orange one in Bali as the colour was so perfect next to the palm trees. I could fit all my bits and bobs inside it and I felt like a topical Mary Poppins!
Polka Dot Swimsuit and the shoes!!! 🙂
What do you match your Birkenstock with?
Hi!
I wore them with everything from a sarong and swimming costume to a vintage dress or shorts! they go with everything!
