It feels like ‘another day, another new Benefit product!’. It was only a few weeks ago Benefit launch Puff Off eye cream, now they are releasing a new mascara.
Benefits They’re Real mascara as the UK’s best selling mascara, in fact, one is sold every 10 seconds here in the uk. Pretty impressive! So what happens when they release a new mascara? People get excited!
The latest mascara launch from Benefit is Roller Lash. It is designed to hook the lashes to lift, curl and separate them for up to 12 hours! The wand works a little like an old fashioned hair roller with a curved hook and roll brush. There is a patent pending on the wand, so there won’t be any dupes of this product on the market.
Ditch The Eyelash Curlers
When I was a teenager, I loved curling my eyelashes, but I did noticed after a while my lashes started to look less thick and long. I also had some pretty bad experiences with applying mascara and forgetting to use the curlers, so I used it post-mascara. Not fun when the mascara made my lashes stick to us curlers. Between this and the aforementioned issued, I decided to ditch the curlers. I haven’t used them in years, but I still get tinge of jealous when I see other people with their beautiful curled lashes.
The spikes on this wand are tiny and there are crazy amounts of them. Probably about triple the number on a regular mascara wand. I can’t see the hooks on the spikes because they are too tiny and probably covered in mascara. What I do know, is that with one coat, it really does lift and curl my eyelashes and they stay in that position all day. It really does give the effect that I have curled my lashes and it’s actually a better effect as you don’t get that weird bend you sometimes get with curlers. I’m completely ‘hooked’ on this mascara already and I actually prefer it to They’re Real. I personally never put mascara on my lower lashes as I don’t really like the effect, but when I tried it with this mascara, I actually didn’t like the effect as it made my lower lashes look too long and thick. Basically, it’s too effective and have me that Lower-lash spider eye effect!
I Love, love, love this mascara. If you haven’t already ditched the eyelash curler, you might want to now!
Want to try Roller Lash for yourself? It’s in stores from March 2015 or you can get a free mini product with this months copy of Elle Magazine. It might only be 3g of mascara, but it will last you a fair while until you buy your next tube… Because you probably will buy this mascara again!
