OOTD: New Boden Handbag

Cape

I bought this cape years ago from a vintage store and it was such a good decision. It cost me barely anything, but every single Winter I get it out and wear it. It’s amazing how you can buy a sandwich for £5 and then you can have a lucky vintage find in a vintage store and pick up something amazing, like this cape for the same amount of money.

Handbag

I have been loving Boden recently, I have amassed myself quite a collection of bags and shoes and this Maida Vale handbag is my latest addition. It is made of beautiful thick leather, it has a slouchy shape and a contrasting brown leather strap. It also has a detachable longer strap so you can wear it as a cross-body or shoulder bag too. Personally, I like it over my arm, but it’s nice to have options! It fits everything in it and somehow it is still super light to carry around. Oh, and the lining is cute navy and white striped!

Sunglasses

I’m still rocking the ‘sunglasses in Winter’ look as the sun has been super low and bright recently and I’m getting paranoid about squinting and giving myself extra wrinkles. These Ray-Ban Wayfarers are super cool and flattering, as well as being Winter appropriate. I think every girl (and boy) needs a pair of these in their wardrobe!

Boots

I totally forgot I owned these boots until I found them last week, they have barely left my feel since then! They are so comfortable and they literally go with every outfit too. God bless Hush Puppies and their super comfortable shoes! I have another pair of Hush Puppies which I wear a lot too, I swear, they feel like slippers to walk around in.

I am currently writing a post about Naomi Sims and her iconic 1967 cover of New York Times Magazine. I love a good cape. Yours is fab!

Nice outfit! I actually own a great pair of Wayfarers (which lately I’m kind of obsessing over this style) from–enter drumroll–Target. For .99 USD cents. Yep. I got them on a whim, because they have this section with cheap items, decorations, gift wrappings, and desk accessories that are usually season-based and around $5 or less. I almost always end up checking it out if I’m there.

The glasses have black frames with white sides that have black polka-dots. They are just so cute, and can look really chic with some outfits! They also seem to be a tad smaller than other Wayfarers I have purchased and my face is tiny so they look nice. I have a thing for sunglasses–I would probably buy tons and tons if it wasn’t for the fact that I just don’t look good in a lot of styles. But it’s been over a year later and these are still my current favorite ironically.

Besides this, however, I have really been obsessing over wood Wayfarers. I am a fan of wood anyhow, it’s such a beautiful material, and I think sunglasses made out of wood is so neat! I bought a cheap pay once but I have been searching Etsy lately for more.

    Right now I love these:

So pretty! I am holding off because I feel like it needs to be warm out to wear sunglasses made with wood, but I def plan on purchasing some of these.
