Bali: Through The Eyes Of Instagram

Earlier week I was in Bali and I had the most amazing time! I couldn’t help but feel a little guilty that everyone else was in England battling the cold and rain, whilst I was sipping cocktails in a cabana! I thought it might be fun to share my Instagram snaps on my blog as there may be a delay in posting my real pics as LFW started the day I got back to England.

Tropical

Bali is so beautiful; the land is so lush, the beaches are a dream and there are palm trees everywhere. The resort we stayed in was stunning and the people are so friendly. It really is the most beautiful place!

Day Trip

While we spent most of the holiday in the resort, we did take a day trip out to see the paddy fields, a temple and a rainforest. The rainforest was insanely beautiful. It took a while to drive that high up but when we did, it was just a short hike to a beautiful restaurant in the middle of the rainforest. The best way to describe it was a beautiful bamboo treehouse in the middle of the rainforest. We were served the most incredible Balinese food as the rain fell and a man played a some kind of instrument made of bamboo. It was one of those magical experiences which you never expect to happen and it was amazing! So look out for the picture of the restaurant in the rainforest. It was pretty special!

Hotel

We stayed at the beautiful Hotel Laguna which was just stunning. It was a nice big resort on the beach with so many different pools, restaurant, a spa, shops, everything you could need. We had a cabana each day, which was wonderful and any drinks or food you wanted were brought to you. Oh and the massaged in the spa were incredible! We even had dinner on the beach on night, which was also really special.
