Ladies who Lunch
I always fancied being a lady who lunches and it turns out, my blogging BFF, Adorn Girl shares my dream. For us, Tuesdays are Treatdays! We shop, we dine, we make plans, we have fun! Last week, we stopped by Workshop Coffee Bar in Fitzrovia for their incredible coffee and delightful sandwiches.
Clarkenwell
There are a few Workshops around London, their Clarkenwell branch is one of my favourite places for brunch. We often stop by on the way into London at the weekend; my boyfriend loves their eggs Benedict and I can’t get enough of their crispy bacon. I blogged about it in the past, it is really one of the nicest venues and breakfasts in town!
Pit-stop
Last week, we decided to take a pit-stop at Workshop Coffee Bar in Fitzrovia. It is a hidden gem, just a stones throw away from Oxford Circus. While it is a pretty tiny venue, we didn’t have any problems getting a table and nor did we feel pressured to finish fast and clear the table. Instead we had a leisurely lunch and enjoyed our freshly made sandwiches, muffins and their speciality coffee. Their coffee is incredible, even if you don’t want a snack, it is worth going in for coffee (you can drink there or take-away, whatever you prefer!)
Fresh
The nice thing about Workshop Coffee bars and restaurants is that they always serve up delicious and fresh, coffee and food. No matter which of their locations you go to, or what you order, you know the bread is always artisan, the coffee is always incredible and the cakes are always fresh and wholesome. I had a delicious egg and avocado sandwich, which was probably big enough for us to share (but obviously I ate the whole thing myself!) and I had a chocolate and banana muffin. The coffee was so good I found myself ordering a second latte!
Hidden Gem
If you ever find yourself wanting a great value, delicious lunch in your lunch hour or when you are shopping in town. This is a great little spot! It is a rare independent coffee shop in an area of chain stores and restaurants and I think the venue, prices and refreshments were lovely! And if you are ever in the Clarkenwell area, make sure you pop in for brunch, it’s the best!
PS. It’s not just me who love Workshop and their restaurants and coffee bars, they have won a fair few awards for their work!
Sehr schöne und appetitliche Fotos!
