OOTD: Chanel Sweetie necklace

Can I Eat It? 

I am always getting asked if this Chanel Sweetie necklace is real. It is a hard question to answer, as some people are asking if it is made of real sweets and if it can be eaten. Others are asking if I was actually crazy enough to buy the Chanel Candy necklace from the A/W14 collection. It’s a real Chanel necklace and it’s definitely not edible. That would have been a dreadful waste of money!

Hit of Miss

I find purple a massively hit-or-miss colour. For me, there is a very fine line between ‘good’ and ‘bad’ purple. This coat made it into the ‘good’ category as it has sparkly thread running through it, a lace collar and cute zip and ribbon detailing. Even though this coat is a fair few years old, I still adore it and it comes out every Winter. This coat is by Luella Bartley, who is now a designer for Marc by Marc Jacobs, but a few years ago she had her own label, ‘Luella’ which I adored. I bought a fair few pieces from their Brook Street store and I treasure them!

Bag of Tricks 

This bag may have been part of Boohoo’s Halloween collection, but I personally think it is way too special to hide in my wardrobe until next October. If anyone asks, I’m just a big fan of magic or I’m a magician, you choose! This bag sold out, but there are some other great styles of handbags on the Boohoo website at the moment which are just as fun!
