Five tips for getting Party Ready!

Got a party coming up? Here are my five top tips for getting dressed up and feeling party ready!

1. Feel Comfortable and Confident! When you feel comfortable, you feel confident and as we all know, confidence is key! If you hate wearing dresses, don’t wear a dress, wear a chic pair of trousers instead. If you can’t walk in heels, wear a fabulous pair of flats instead, Personally I am obsessed with my Boden crystal encrusted pumps. Forget about what everyone else is wearing and wear what you feel good in. If you feel it is too casual, you can always dress it up with a bit of fur, party hair and jewellery.

2. Glow! I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror the other day and I looked sallow and pale. It’s time to do a brightening face mask, tan up your legs and arms and wear a little bronzer! The aim isn’t to look like you have just returned from holiday, it is just to take the pale tones out your skin and give yourself a glow! 3. Any excuse! For me, a party is an excuse to do something or buy something fun! 4. Big eyes, big hair! Don’t be afraid to have a little fun with your hair and make-up. Parties are the best time to have that big beautiful ‘do you have always wanted, or to do the smokey eye make-up that you love. Personally, I like to do both! 5. Get a cab! So you spend ages doing your hair, make-up and getting dressed. Then you squeeze yourself onto a hot, cramped tube. Forget it! Do the sensible thing and get a cab.
