London fashion week might be over, but that just means it’s time for London fashion weekend!
For those who have never been, London fashion weekend is a customer event where the public can go along and find some great designer bargains. Somerset house turns into a treasure trove of pop-up shops and small stalls, all hosted by different brands and designers.
I got a tip-off from my friends at Sunglass Hut that their shop was well worth visiting, so I popped along to see if there was any nice treats for me! It is basically a treasure trove of the best sunglasses you can imagine; Prada, D&G, Ray-Ban… and of course, my favourites, Miu Miu! Not just the classic shapes, but they even had the glitter cat eyes and the glitter round frames. I was close to tears trying to figure out which pair I like the most, but in the end I went for some incredible Dolce & Gabanna glasses. Oversized with a slight cat eye and handcrafted floral mosaic details on the arm. Incredible!
The Sunglass Hut ‘Style It Out’ team are super helpful, giving advice on what looks good, but also fitting in with your own personal style. Budget and brand choice! Sunglasses are a tricky purchase, as what looks good on the shelf might not look good on your face, after all a shelf doesn’t have a face shape, eye brows, colouring and face size to work around. So it’s great to get a little help from experts! They are also on hand to take photos too, which you can print out and keep, or post to your Facebook page and let your friends help choose which pair. It is really fun and takes all the stress out of sunglass shopping!
Other great brands at London Fashion Weekend include; Mawi, MFP, Pringle of Scotland, Lulu Guinness, Miista, Joseph, Kate Maconie and many more!
You have to buy tickets to get in (Bronze level tickets are £20) but you save a lot of money once you are in and shopping, you also get a limited edition tote bag designed by Lulu Guinness. You can upgrade your tickets to get into catwalk shows too, but for me, it is all about the shopping!
Here were some of my favourite Sunglasses at the Sunglass Hut Style lounge, but there were SO many great pairs there, it was hard to believe! From Ray Ban Wayfarers to heavily embellished Dolce & Gabbana Sunglasses,
