I’m turning into such a perfume geek and my current perfume obsession is oud.
Oud oil comes from Agarwood, which is one of the most expensive woods in the world and the oil is extremely rare and sought after. For years Agarwood incense has been burnt in Chinese, Japanese and Arabian festivals, and the oil has been used to make Arabian perfumes. It’s only recently oud has become popular in the UK and I am a massive fan!
Floris was founded in 1730 by Juan Famenias Floris and his wife Elizabeth. The company is still family owned and run and they are proud to say they are the oldest operating perfumeries in the UK and one of the oldest in the world. Floris hold two Royal Warrants and have two London stores; Jermyn Street and Ebury Street, Belgravia. Two of the most prestigious locations in London. Their perfumes are sold in Harrods, Fortnum & Mason and Peter Jones. They also offer a bespoke service to their clients, this is no average perfumery, Floris is very special.
For those who are not so familiar with oud, it is a rich, heavy, woody scent. Personally, I like it best when it is balanced with a sweeter scents, like amber, honey or rose. When I heard about Floris London’s new scent, Honey Oud, I could’t wait to give it a try! This perfume combines sweet honey, vanilla and rose with strong, heavy oud. Perfect!
This perfume is fabulous. It’s rich, woody and sweet with the oud, vanilla and honey. I can pick up the rose oil and it’s got slightly spicy notes too. I absolutely adore this perfume, because I love fragrances that smell rich, complex and fabulous. It’s exotic, warm and heady and I can’t get enough of it!

Sounds ridiculously heavenly! Thanks for the link to their site too… All of their scents sound amazing. I might have to gift one to myself
