I love Easter! Chocolate..holidays…sweets…cakes… Jesus! It’s all good!
On Saturday I went into London to have a wander around the shops, we popped into Hermes (I need to buy something for my boyfriends birthday, it’s a good place to start, right?!) then we headed to Miu Miu (swoon!), Chanel (swoon some more!) and then onto Selfridges to browse the beauty hall, home wears and food court. I still haven’t come to any present decisions, so let me know if you have any great suggestions!
On Saturday I wore my Charlotte Olympia Kitty Flats with a simple black dress and Chanel silk scarf.
My boyfriend wore Paul Smith jeans with an Alexander McQueen shirt.
Here we are in the park on the way home!
We were not sure where to go for lunch and all our usual haunts were so busy, so we headed to Mash as we have walked past it and thought it looked interesting. Oh Wowzer! It was ammmmazzzing! Situated two floors underground you don’t quite know what to expect when you get to reception. It is an old ballroom and it is beautifully restored and decorated. It’s full on old-school glamour; leather booths, exposed wine racks, mahogany, pillars… This place is beautiful and the food was incredible. It’s an American style steakhouse, beautiful cuts of meat and delicious sides. It reminded me so much of the Metropolitan Grill in Seattle, a restaurant I loved so much we went to three times in one week! If you are in London and you want an incredible Steak, Mash is amazing, the food, the service… Everything! Sorry I didn’t take photos, but I didn’t intended to write about it so much!
On easter Sunday we are chocolate for breakfast, noodles for lunch and then headed to my boyfriends relatives for a snack and more cakes. Delicious! I wore another black dress with my vintage Chanel shoes, I rarely wear these anymore as they are so old and beaten up, but I still adore them! My man wore classic K-Swiss trainers, Bjorn Borg socks and turned-up jeans!
I love Easter for many reasons, but it’s also a great excuse to show off my vintage Cadburys Creme egg handbag, isn’t it the best thing ever???
I hope you all had a lovely Easter!
