Meadham Kirchhoff X Topshop day

Today saw the launch of the Meadham Kirchhoff for Topshop range. I have been obsessed with Meadham Kirchhoff for ages now, and couldn’t wait for this range to launch. My friend Holly and I had been stalking it online to find as much info on it as we could and we both had a massive wishlist.

Today I got up at 8am and logged straight into the Topshop website and tried to figure out what I wanted. By the time I decided, items had sold out. Damn! So I panic-bought a dress.

I was heading into central London for some press days, so I went early to check the in store selection. I decided I didn’t like the dress I ordered, it was too Long. But the scarf I nearly bought was incredible. I was smitten with it, but alas, the one colour they had left, was not my dream colour. I logged back onto the Topshop website to find it had sold out already. Damn. I went down to the click and collect area and cancelled the dress I bought earlier online, as I liked it less in the flesh, it was too long for me. So I ended up with nothing.

I went to two press days and a hair event and on my way back, I couldn’t resist popping onto Topshop again, just in case there was anything that wasn’t there this morning. There was incredible gold shoes, but a size too small, I knew as soon as I walked, that Velcro would pop straight open. Again, I left empty handed.

All my dream items are now on eBay and being sold for double the price. Quite frankly, it’s not cool. I’m all for recycling fashion, but it’s not fair to buy limited edition items just to try and double your money. Now I have to keep checking the website for returns.

I wanted to share with you all some pictures of the range instore, as I looks amazing! Go online, and maybe you will find your dream Meadham Kirchhoff pieces! I’m going to keep checking back for repeat drops an returns, because quite frankly, the collection is awesome!!! God love Meadham Kirchhoff!

I should have been faster this morning with my shopping and bought more items when they were first online.

FYI, if there is nothing for you in the Topshop X Meadham Kirchhoff range, don’t forget there are still limited edition silk scarves which they released a few weeks ago with amazon and they too are beautiful!

That black skirt with the white fringe looks like Wensleydale long locks attached at the hem! I made a scarf with handspun long locks last year!

Love the mini patchwork quilt dress! I want it! Yes I agree its not fair and a shame what these buyers do – they have no interest in the brand itself but are just looking to profit….happens all the time
