It’s Christmas time and there is no better excuse to have a cocktail or two!
Here are so Christmas cocktail recipes I adore… Drink sensibly and enjoy!
Mulled Spiced Apple Tanqueray Punch
35ml Tanqueray London Dry
60ml Pressed Apple Juice
25ml Spiced Sugar Syrup
15ml Fresh Lemon Juice
Whole Fresh Apple
Whole Fresh Orange
Add all the ingredients to a saucepan and add cloves, cinnamon and orange peel, heat up and serve into a latte glass with a clove studded apple slice.
If you are having a party, just multiply the quantities to make a larger batch!
25ml Malibu Coconut Rum
Jacobs Creek sparkling rosé
Pour the Malibu rum into a champagne glass, top with rosé. Finish with a raspberry! Easy!
40ml Baileys Original Irish Cream
25ml Hazelnut liqueur or Walnut Whisky
60ml Hazelnut & Almond Milk (or Milk)
2 Dash of Chocolate Bitters (optional)
12.5ml Date Syrup (optional)
To create the Walnut Whisky:
Add ingredients to a bowl, cover with cling film and leave overnight. Strain out walnuts and bottle.
To create the Date Syrup:
100g Stoned Dates
Squeeze of Fresh orange
Heat gently over a low heat until the sugar has dissolved. Use spoon to crush dates, leave go cool and drain.
Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and strain into a elegant long glass.
The full version of this drink is served in The Social Eating House in London, or you can make the simple version with Hazelnut Liqueur, without the bitters and date syrup in your own home!
My friends at Malibu Rum have sent me a recipe book of some amazing cocktails and I couldn’t resist sharing a few of them!
1.5 parts Malibu Coconut
1 part cream of coconut
3 parts pineapple juice
Blend all ingredients with crushed ice, garnish with red sugar and decorate with a plastic toy spider!
Malibu Redrum Punch:
1.5 parts Malibu Red
3 parts orange juice
0.25 parts grenadine
Build over ice in a pint glass, float grenadine on top, garnish with an orange wedge and gummy worms!
I think these cocktail ideas are so much fun, I’m so excited about Halloween!
Remember the fun I had at the Malibutique in London a couple of weeks ago?
