It’s that funny time of year where it’s no longer Summer, but it’s not quite Autumn. It’s kind-of-warm-kind-of-chilly, with bright sun so you need sunglasses, bare legs are optional and a light coat or jacket is essential. It’s kind of all over the place really!
Chanel Pearl Print Scarf
Regular readers may have seen this scarf once or twice before. It is by Chanel, it is black with off-white pearls printed all over. It’s perfect for the days you want to wear a pearl necklace, but you also need the warmth of a scarf. Silk scarves tend to be very colourful, which I love, as I’m a colour addict and it’s also a great excuse for constantly buying new scarves. This one is special because it is monochrome which is very rare for a silk scarf, it’s super easy to style up with practically every outfit!
TOMS Sunglasses & Boots
I bet you didn’t know TOMS made cute boots like these? Well, now you do! I love how comfortable and stylish they are, also because they are TOMS, they are also good for the planet! For every pair sold, TOMS donate a pair of shoes to a child in need. Same goes for they eyewear, for every pair sold, TOMS help restore the sight of someone in need.
I think I have lost my jewellery mojo. I used to pile it on and even though I have a huge collection, I seem to be wearing the same few pieces, over and over again! Today I am mixing things up slightly, I layered my Cartier Love Ring up with this Triple Band Black Spinel Ring to create an armour ring effect.

Don’t you just love an cape?! The world thinks you have made a massive effort and taken a fashion risk, but actually, they are risk-free. They are easy to wear, comfortable and cosy. It’s basically like wearing a blanket, without being judged. My new cape is by Boden, it called my name from afar with it’s cute peter pan collar, classic grey with contrasting yellow lining. Lovely!
These boots have turned into my everyday shoe of choice. Once again, they are from Boden, they are black suede with a low heel and they are insanely comfortable. I have walked miles in these shoes and they have never once even rubbed my little toe! I couldn’t resist showing the bright yellow lining behind the zips, they sort of match the lining in my cape! By the way, if you look closely and you will see zips are marked with ‘YKK’. It’s always worth noting if your clothes and accessories use YKK zips as they are really good, they cost a little more to the brand, but they are really sturdy and rarely break. It’s a nice little sign of quality production.
It’s starting to get chilly, but the sun is still low and often bright. I thought I had retired my *fun* sunglasses for the year, but with the cape these round Wildfox sunglasses took on kind of a 60’s-mod-space-race feel. I’m into that!
