I carried a watermelon!

I bloody love these tights! Tropical and fun! I need these to brighten up autumn days and Sunday lounging!
They are just so much fun, tempted to wear them with a dress, print on print with clashing jewellery! I just love them! Take a bite!

Buy a pencil case and write a zine!

I love this pencil case by Lulu Guinness, isn’t it cute?! It’s so 1990s riot girl, it makes me want to put my pens and staple gun in it and start my zine again!
Simple, chic, fun and has a real 90s riot girl vibe! I want it so badly! It’s a pencil case for the coolest girl in school!

Markus Lupfer dress love!

I just adore Markus Lupfer, I swear I have a different garment on my wish list every week! I love love love what he does!
Here are some dresses I have been lusting over recently. View them all on his website.
The bat dress is beyond perfect in the run up to Halloween, but it’s also just a perfect dress! I’m also smitten with the stars dress.
The print dress is silk (only the finest materials are used at MLHQ!) and based on a Kaleidoscope pattern. It’s currently sold out, but hopefully there will be more soon! As is the tinsel knit dress. But let’s be honest. Dresses this hot sell out fast! And Markus Lupfer is HOT!

Today I’m wearing

Today I’m wearing a dress I bought in New York last week!
I love it, the top is black and the skirt is so bright and colourful. It’s really fun and great for wearing with plenty of jewellery! I paid $10 for it, a real steal!
So I’m Wearing a Vivienne Westwood watch necklace, and Vivienne Westwood ring. 20120928-124456.jpg20120928-124506.jpg
I’m wearing black tights, these are the nicest thing ever, they are fleece lined and bought from Pretty Polly and they are the best thing when it gets chilly! I’m hooked on them! They come highly recommended!
Since I bought the dress in New York. I thought I would give it a nod to the American-indie-retro look with my beaten up Converse! I always think it looks quite cute!

What else did I buy from the sample sale?!

So what else did I buy from the Simon Harrison Studio sample sale?
I took these photos yesterday, but it was all too much jewellery, so I had to take a little off… So here’s what else I bought.
A tiny little orb necklace with a safety pin, a cute twist on the original design.

And this beautiful whopper of a necklace, a massive orb on a long chain, with pearls all over and navy blue trim. Really classy and beautiful. I love them both! (and what I was wearing yesterday!) Such a brilliant sample sale!

Today I’m wearing

Last night I went to the amazing sample sale at the Simon Harrison studio. and today I’m wearing some of my new things!
My dress is a vintage piece I wear way too often! I think I paid £3 for it and I wear it a lot!
The ring is Ted Baker it’s a big beautiful feather that goes over both fingers!
I’m also wearing a new Vivienne Westwood bracelet, again from the sample sale. I love the strings of orange beads and the orb hanging off it. So cute! Im also wearing a big leopard head necklace! The only thing not from the sale!
Simon Harrison is a jewellery designer who makes his own range of jewels and also designs and manufactures jewellery for other companies such as Vivienne Westwood, Karen Millen, Cath Kidston, Ted Baker and more. His sample sales are always worth popping along to!
