About Me

Hello and welcome to my blog!

La Redoute shoot mcm worldwide handbag

Over the years I have documented my ever-changing take on fashion on my blog. I have a massive wardrobe which seems to get bigger by the week. It is filled with Vintage, designer and fun finds from the high street. I tend to save up my money and buy beautiful pieces by fabulous brands, I like fashion which lasts. If I know I am only buying an item to wear for one season, I try to buy it on the high street. Designer copies are not my thing, I like to support the designer who created the piece, not the store who copied it. I also don’t believe in wearing a piece of clothing only once. I wear my rotate pieces of clothing and I mix them up with accessories to keep them fresh. Clothes should not be worn once and thrown away.

I also love brands who have a great interesting story and rich history. I’m obsessed with brands who make their items in the UK too.

I have and continue to work in fashion. I know the industry from both sides.

Over the years I have collaborated with many brands to help share their products with my readers. I never work with a brand or designer I don’t like, because there is just no point.

Brands I have worked with include Swarovski, Jo Malone London, John Lewis, Clarks, Ugg Australia, Penhaligon’s, Aspinal of London, Links of London, Nars, Rotary watches, Ray Bans, Dr. Martens, Sunglass Shop, Coast, boohoo and many more.

I am always interested in hearing from brands and PR companies, so if you do want to get in touch with me about your product, please email me at fashionforlunch@hotmail.com.  I do get a lot of requests, so if I take a little time to reply, I am really sorry for the delay. Unless otherwise stated, my blog features PR samples.

I do host competitions for brands on my blog, if you are interesting in speaking about it, please do get in touch. I like to share great items with my readers, as well as helping to boost a brands exposure.

All opinions are my own, or my trusted friends/family/boyfriend. I wouldn’t post positive things about things I don’t believe in.

When I started my blog, I never expected so many people to visit, so thank you for stopping by!

HI and thanks for stopping by my blog and liking something. I am enjoying my visit to yours. I envy you your location. I spent a wonderful year living and working in London and loved it. As a Chicagoan, I was thrilled at the history and general pageantry about the place. Cheers!

I was curious and flattered to get a visit from a blogger with a different genre to their site.
Wow – despite the fact that I wear scrubs everyday, I enjoyed perusing your site. Your comments about style are descriptive without being too flowery. I’ll need to return for a visit in order to be inspired for the next time I get to dress up!
