Pink, Peach & Palm Trees
A few weeks ago I packed my suitcase and headed off to Soma Bay, Egypt. I have had this place on my travel wish-list for the longest time now, but I have to say, it was even more beautiful than I expected. I think I said every single day ‘It’s so beautiful, we are just so lucky!’. The water was clear and blue, the palm tress were majestic and the buildings were just charming. Just when I thought it couldn’t get any more beautiful, I went snorkelling and saw an underground world of rainbow fish and coral…. Although more on that later I promise!
Soma Bay, Egypt
For those who have never been to Soma Bay or know anything about it, it is a holiday destination in Egypt which is located on a peninsular. There there are plenty of beaches, so you can swim and snorkel in the red sea, shops, restaurants, pools, a spa, golfing range and so much more. It’s all within a gated community too, so it feels really safe and really private. Also, it’s guaranteed sunshine, no really, I didn’t see a single cloud in the sky the whole time I was there, not even a whisper of white!
Peach & Pink
One of my favourite parts of the resort was by the Marina, there is a small bar / cafe there where you can order ice cream and a drink and look out at the boats, palm tress and all the beautiful peach and pink buildings. I took so many pics here and if you look closely, you can see me poking out of one of the archways. It’s such a lovely place to spend an hour in the afternoon and once you are done, you can hop on a golf buggy and head to the beach or to the spa, you might even see a camel en-route… more on that later! Have a wonderful day everyone!
All photos taken at Soma Bay, Egypt, you can find more information about the resort at www.somabay.com, I can’t recommend this destination enough, it’s absolutely stunning! More posts coming soon I promise!
