We have been working so hard on our house recently, we have had so many workmen in and out of the house working on walls, windows, ceilings, doors, bathrooms … you name it, we have renovated it! I can’t believe how far we have come, even as I write this post, I’m sat in our beautiful green guest bedroom which at one time was so grim, I didn’t want to walk in the room without shoes on! For those who missed this post about our recent progress, please do check this post, it will give you an update as to where we are up to!
We are finally getting to the stage where we are thinking about buying sofas, TV’s, shelves, chairs, tables and side-tables and I could not be more excited about it. Last week I blogged about my search for sofas, this week, I’m starting to think about artwork. I have quite a few pieces of art already, but I want plenty more, especially for my office, I dream of having a desk with beautiful pictures all around giving me inspo on grey days when I have no motivation or inspiration.
Last year, I made a Pinterest board filled with artwork that I love, nearly all of it being from Etsy. I love shopping on Etsy because it allows me to support independent designs and because they are selling the items themselves, rather than through a retailer, the prices tend to be way cheaper too! Some of these works are sold as a framed print, unframed print or digital file, which allows you to print the work out yourself and avoid shipping fees, often the artists sell their pieces at a much lower price this way as cuts out so much admin time and shipping time for them too. I thought it was about time I shared some of my favourites, so if you see something you love, just click the images to be taken to the product page. Also, the top image is by an artist called EmmaKisstina, she is amazing! Make sure you check out her work, because it’s just delightful!
Let met me know if you have any favourites, or if you know any other great places to pick up artwork like this, please do drop me a comment and let me know!
